RIO+33

Rio+33 is an intermediate level committee focused on amendments and discussions on the Sustainable Development Goals

Rio+20 was a chance to move away from business-as-usual and to act to end poverty, address environmental destruction and build a bridge to the future We Want. A blueprint to rethink economic growth, advance social equity and ensure environmental protection and the place where, the UN brought again governments, international institutions and major groups together to agree on a range of smart measures that can reduce poverty while promoting decent jobs, clean energy and a more sustainable and fair use of resources.

33 years after the Earth Summit in Rio where member states adopted Agenda 21,13 years after Rio+20 where they decided to develop the Sustainable Development Goals

(SDGs),10 years after the Sustainable Development Summit established the SDGs for all member states to adopt...

In 2025, the summits reestablish themselves as Rio+33 to reimagine and amend the SDG's they have put in order 10 years ago. Have they failed to put out tangible goals? Or has the world failed to implement them.
